Announcement

Dear all, just two days and it is Filmcamp. Here a summary for you:

Location: Vientiane College
Time: 8am – 5pm

Rules: We all make the Filmcamp. Everyone can speak. We have 30 minutes sessions and up to 5 rooms. If you want to talk about something, you write your name and the topic on a paper and stick it on the timetable we will have on the top floor. This is how we make the agenda for the day. You can speak, but of course you can also just listen.

Wish you all a good and interesting Filmcamp.

Program:

8.00 am Registration

9.00 am Opening session (Welcome speech, explanation of the rules for the Filmcamp)

9.30 am Creating final agenda

10.00 am Begin sessions (5 Rooms)

12.00 pm Lunch Break

2.00 pm Beginn sessions

5.00 pm Closing session

5.30 pm Clean up

7.00 pm After Filmcamp gathering (location to be announced)

What YOU can do for the Filmcamp

1. Spread the word. Tell your friends about it. And join us on October 1st.

2. Think about something you want to share with others. It can be an open discussion about how to get funding for a movie. It can be a presentation about editing. It can be a talk about script writing. You are an expert in something. Share it, have a session.

3. Translate this blog posts in Lao. Just add a Lao translation in the comment field of every post, so more people in Laos can read it!

4. Help us to find sponsors. For now we have a free venue and free water. Try to help us to get at least 700 US-Dollar for free T-Shirts. Ask the company you are working with. Your boss. Your wife. Whoever.

5. Have fun. Without fun there is no learning.
